James Rye was trained in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, and in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT Counselling) at the University of East Anglia. He also has an MA in Humanistic Counselling Studies from the University of Nottingham. He has completed the Foundation Course in Solution-focused Brief Therapy at BRIEF (SFBT), London.
